Anchorage

If you are expecting to see lots of the city in the post you will not.  We were up at 4:30 am to make our first plane.  It's 8 PM Alaska time as I type which is 4 hours different.  We hope to make it to ten.  Plenty of light.  Sunset is officially 11:33 pm but not really.

From the 11th floor of our hotel we can see some of the grandeur around us even though the windows need cleaning.

Tomorrow the real touring begins.

We are hiking on the Matanuska Glacier.  The hike starts in late afternoon because there is so much daylight this time of year.  And we are staying in the Glacier View Hotel.  Should be a good picture day.
